LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective August 3, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Unilead Labs (“Unilead”, “we”). Questions: hello@unileadlabs.com.
1. The agreement
By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use Unilead on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and “you” means that company.
2. What Unilead is
Unilead is a subscription service that sources business contacts against the audience you describe, verifies email addresses, drafts outreach copy for your review, sends approved email from managed sending infrastructure, and organizes the replies. Some parts of the service are generated by artificial-intelligence models.
3. Your account
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity in your workspace. Provide accurate information, including a working notification email. One workspace serves one legal entity unless we agree otherwise in writing.
4. Acceptable use — the part that matters
You are the sender of record for every message sent from your workspace. You must only run outreach that is lawful in your jurisdiction and your recipients’ jurisdictions (including CAN-SPAM, GDPR and PECR, CASL, and equivalents). In particular, you agree to:
- use the service for business-to-business outreach to professional contacts, not consumer marketing;
- never upload purchased consumer lists, scraped personal data, or contacts who have opted out;
- honor every opt-out immediately — the platform enforces suppression across your workspace, and you must not attempt to circumvent it;
- send only truthful, non-deceptive content: no impersonation, no misleading subject lines, no fraudulent offers, nothing unlawful or defamatory;
- review AI-drafted content before approving it — what leaves your workspace is your speech;
- not probe, overload, resell, or reverse-engineer the service, and not use it to build a competing dataset.
We may pause sending from your workspace immediately when bounce or complaint signals threaten recipients, deliverability, or the shared infrastructure, or when we reasonably believe these terms are being violated. We tell you when we do and why.
5. Plans and billing
Unilead is sold as monthly plans billed in advance through Stripe. Your plan’s included send allowance paces your campaigns; when it is used, sending pauses until the next period rather than billing overage. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from the billing portal; changes take effect per Stripe’s proration rules, and cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable for partial periods. Prices exclude taxes.
6. Your data and our data
You own your workspace content: your company profile, campaign briefs, edits, and the replies your outreach receives. You grant us the license needed to operate the service on that content. Prospect data the service sources for you is provided for use inside the service and in your own sales process; you are responsible for using any export lawfully. We own the service, its software, and its models’ configurations. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation.
7. AI-generated content and no guarantee of outcomes
Drafts, suggestions, and automated replies are model-generated and can be imperfect; you are responsible for what you approve and send. We do not guarantee reply rates, meetings, revenue, deliverability, or the accuracy of sourced data, and we make no promise that any particular contact is currently employed where our sources say they are.
8. Third-party services
The service depends on third parties — payment processing (Stripe), sending and mailbox infrastructure, verification providers, AI model providers, and optional integrations you connect (for example Calendly). Their availability affects the service, and their terms govern their parts.
9. Availability and support
We operate the service with commercially reasonable care and provide support by email. Self-serve plans carry no uptime SLA. We may change features as the product evolves; we will not materially reduce what your plan includes mid-period without notice.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability under these terms is capped at the fees you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Unilead against third-party claims arising from your content, the lists you upload, or your breach of section 4.
12. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate for material breach — immediately for section 4 violations. For 30 days after termination you may request an export of your workspace content; after that we may delete it, except suppression records, which we keep so opted-out people are never contacted again.
13. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email or in the product, and continued use after the effective date is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Unilead Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law where you live provides otherwise.
